POST II: Holidays

Hi

For some reason that I ignore, I will write about my holidays. My best holidays was in 2016, after that I finished high school, and it lasted one month or something like that. I went to different places in the south of Chile, like Temuco, Carahue, Nehuentue, Puerto Montt, Frutillar and so on. I went with mi older brother, Marco, and my mom.

I liked Puerto Montt. Maybe, I could live there after graduating. However, I need more information before make that decission.

In the 2016´s holidays, we walked too much and we crossed Lago de todos los santos. The main aim, however, was to visit the family. Also, we went to cemetery for cleaning my grandad and aunt´s tombs, as every time that we are in the south of the country.

The most salient fact was the tour that we took. It allows us to know places around Puerto Montt, like Lago de todos los santos that I mentioned before. That is one of the reasons because is the best holidays, even more that the time when I traveled Neuquen, in Argentina. Also, because I was with my direct family.

Besides photos, I conserve one cup from that holidays and it is my favourite one.

POST I: I would like to visit Uruguay

No, it´s not for the marijuana haha. As you con read in the title of this entry, I want to go to Uruguay. The main reason is that is the birthplace of writers I enjoy, like Mario Benedetti or Eduardo Galeano. Besides, it´s a interesting place, I mean, they did the first land reform in Latin America.

That is one of the things I know about their history. Also, they had one of the most sanguinary dictatorships of the recent history of the continent.

In certain way, they are like us in the importance that the food has on their culture. Also, they have mate (like us). And I like it.

If I go there, I would visit the Montevideo´s cafes like Café Brasilero (in the photo) which was visited for Benedetti, Onetti and Galeano. Also, I would visit the beach, buy some books and ridiculous amounts of coffee.

I don´t know if there is a place for living, but study there could be a good idea (if they are so pluralists as their reputation say). However, I don´t know the living cost, so, I won´t plan anything for now.
